Senior High Youth

THE MISSION OF OUR YOUTH MINISTRY AT ST. PAUL
LUTHERAN CHURCH IS TO CONNECT FAMILIES IN THE LOVE
OF CHRIST BY SEARCHING GOD’S WORD AND SERVING AS
THE HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS.

SUNDAY MORNING STUDY

Each Sunday morning our senior high youth meet in the youth room to read God’s Word and talk about how culture and scripture mix in each of our lives. We gather at 9:15am between the early and late service.

YOUTH COUNCIL

Every year the youth of St. Paul ask five people from the group to serve as leaders between the youth group and various boards of the church. These five young people serve their fellow youth and congregation to promote God’s love.

YOUTH PROGRAM

“We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.” 1 John 1:3

Our youth program is moved by the Great Commission to be a light in the life of the church and the community. We are striving to be of help to those around us by serving our local congregation and seeking opportunities to reach out in the Waco area. Every first and third Sunday of the month we will be busy from 12 noon to 2pm.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Our teens and parents are encouraged to be active in helping in the community that we live and the area around the church. Our youth group has been involved with Cameron Park Zoo, Church Under the Bridge, the Salvation Army, Mission Waco, the Texas Ramp Project, Care Net Pregnancy Center, and many other organizations.
